Windows Vista Dev Beta Screenshots

I found a page with a number of Windows Vista beta screenshots. MS' new OS looks very sleek and Mac OS X-like with a number of neat little additions (HDD capacity bars, better virtual folder viewing, little search thumbnails, etc), yet still maintains the classic Windows feel we're all used to.

What happened to the 'Longhorn' moniker? Is it hanging out with the Nintendo Dolphin?

This shows you how much I check out MS' progress. Being a CS major, you'd think I'd care more about tech news.

Good. The 'Longhorn' thing kept making me think that only Texans would be able make anything of the latest MS OS.

I never use the default Windows things anyway, within 5 minutes I will have it all changed.

I haven't used 'sleek' skins for years. Classic Windows works much smoother, and actually speeds up your computer enough to make it worth it. "1337 gr4phyx" don't wow me enough to warrant so much CPU/memory usage.
