I liked the thread that was here before the site hiccup, so I'm resurecting it.
But seriously,
I hope no one minds. It was fun to be able to make little doodles for the sake of flexing my talent and it was also fun to se how other people had a diffent take on a theme.
Ok. So same Idea as the last thread, but I'm expanding the spectrum a bit (in a good way).
I'll post a theme and you draw it. Simple. However, I'm going to use simple themes that everyone can relate to. The challenge is to not only draw with in the theme, but be as creative as possible with in it. For example, If I say the theme is say, "tree," you could just draw a tree, (and that would be fine) but it's better to take some liberty with the theme and try to think outside the box. Perhaps you could draw your family tree, or a vast tree with a microcosim city in it's branches. Likewise, you could take an "Iron Chef" approch and use the tree as a central element in a larger picture that might not, at first glance, look like a tree should be expected in it. But these are only suggestions; try to think up your own interesting and unexpected illutrations that fit the theme.
