Re: Megas XLR, what happend?
Toonami stuff I think, Funk.
I liked Big Guy and Rusty but it was just so off the wall. It was all 50's sci-fi with MIB animation. The Cyclops having only one eye, needed to seek shelter from the harsh sun. The shadow cast by the spheres gave him temporary respite.

Re: Megas XLR, what happend?
I lived and breathed toonami's new programming when it first hit about a year ago, JLU, Megas, Teen Titans season 2. Megas was easily my favorite, from the R.E.G.I.S. episode to Bruce Campbell spouting out lines from Leon it was such a breath of fresh air in the world of anime inspired cartoons when everything else was a satire on typical stereotypes (totally spies and their valley girls), this was a show that was actually intelligent and satired the genre as a whole. It dared to point out things that were normally stupid but used in shows all the time, and actually spotlighted one life saving tip, blowing into your game cartidge to get it to work. It's a shame that it's getting canned, and yet another nail in CN's coffin. And no, I do not blame Puffy Amiyumi nor their children's programming for it.
Of course, I only saw the first seven or so episodes before my TV broke and I haven't watched TV since. I think the last episode I saw was the one with the Samus Aran bounty hunter. Maybe the rest of the season took a turn for the worse?

The one I saw had a redneck guy who's Mega thing was like an 18 wheeler and he fought a mega made from a junk heap in space.
I don't get it.The Cyclops having only one eye, needed to seek shelter from the harsh sun. The shadow cast by the spheres gave him temporary respite.
