    No more Karr <3 Sezjeuric

So as some of you read in the Playground, a few recent events in Karr's life have been getting him down, and alas... I'm the other thing he couldn't mention at the time... til now.

We had a good long talk after returning from a vacation in Mexico and we mutually agreed that it was in both of our best interests to no longer see each other. For the last year and a half to 2 years, we've felt like we were falling out of love and after giving our relationship a lot of time, patience, and dedication we've decided to move on.

It's been really surprising how mature and smooth this transition has been. His mom remarked how surprised she was that we are not just civil with eachother, but quite comfortable even after separating... that's just how Regan and I have always been. No drama. Even in breaking up ha ha.

As for where to go from here- I'll be staying in this apartment... I love this neighbourhood too much to uproot myself, and with a recent promotion from work, rent won't be a problem. Regan is undecided as to where he wants to move, bbut once he narrows down a city at least, I'll help him find a suitable place. There's no rush in him moving out quite yet... I know these things take time.

So that's pretty much it... the inside scoop on us. We won't be changing the status' on facebook til at least mid week as a few more relatives are informed. However our peeps on the pav get an early heads up. We'll both be staying on the pav so no worries there either.

I like Karr. So out of respect I'll probably wait a week or two before I start spamming wang pics.

But I can see where that would be a double whammy on top of the grandfather death. Especially since mutual agreement in this situation is rarely as mutual as is publicly expressed.

You're both on equitable terms, I know 40 year olds that still act like teenagers after a break up.

Sorry to hear about the break up, glad to hear you're both stickin around.

      And I'm damned if I do and I'm damned if I don't
So here's to drinks in the dark at the end of my road

I really like both of you guys, and wish you both the very best.

I have to admit that I was bummed to hear the news, but the fact that you guys can still be friends is great.

              Wow, that sucks.

But if the both of you are equally comfortable about it, then I guess it's for the best.

Now is not the time to go to Home Depot and hit on Sez, Vonwert.

I'm glad that you two are able to end the relationship mutually, and that it hasnt turned into a fight.

It was MOSTLY like that for me and my ex, except it wasnt quite as mutual on my side, but we became friends, and have stayed friends for the past 10 years since our breakup. Hell, we have moved 3 times since our breakup, and the most recent was buying a house together... go figure.

So i'm sure you two can probably stay friends for years to come, and i hope you both the best for now and the future.

I think you should think about the term "love" and "falling out of love". The long you are with someone the more natural the situation is going to feel. People seem to mix up the feeling of security and stability with "falling out of love". Sparks are going to stop eventually, and so is the butterfly effect in your stomach, but that doesn't mean you don't love someone, that just means you passed the "highschool" phase, and are now in the deeper, more mature stage of the relationship, where you just understand each other.

I honestly don't think people fall out of love unless some crisis or situation happened to break the two apart. Just my 2 cents, hope all is well.
