    wow. we DIDNT lose anything.

the past month, its all still here. it's just heavily corrupted. working on fixing that.

of course, it can only be restored in the most tedious, boring way possible.

Oh wow, that's great! Good luck, and I really appreciate what you're doing.

Out of curiosity, will everything that's been done since we "lost" all that data be kept, or deleted? Because it would be cool if we could keep it.

If it's too much effort, I'd say don't bother bringing it all back.

      Still, nice work.

I'd say ignore it until things get a little less hectic for you.

From what I've read, most of the complaints were about lost "Reputation" and post counts. Perhaps those would be easier to restore than the entire lot of stuff.

Either way, that's impressive recovery work.

          Good Job!

reputation and post counts should be the least of anyone's concerns.

                Agreed.

But read what people said in the "Well that sucked" thread and see for yourself. There's a lot more comments about that than actual content.

                Go figure.

                Peace.

I have a feeling that if I did then I wouldn't recognize anyone who made thos comments. Which, not to sound like Ryner, would mean they don't count for anything.

I don't care anything about rep and post counts. Only thing I miss is some of the "game in progress" threads that we lost. I don't know about anyone else but I tend to come up with ideas while posting about a game that I hadn't thought of before and now I'm not sure I remember everything I'd thought of. Although I don't really need my game's thread back since I've been rethinking it and changed some of the ideas.

                      You actually use RPG Maker?

Re: wow. we DIDNT lose anything.

Indeed there exist a sizable number of people that stil use RPG Maker. Many more will exist once XP comes out.

Glad to hear that not everything is truly gone. Any leads on what caused this to occur?

I know that people still use RPG Maker. I myself am hoping that XP is worth investing time into.

Darn i just made a new user name too, at least the P is capitalized in this one so i don't care for the other that much.

still, its great that the lost data was found but like Nixon said don't bother if its too much trouble.

i don't think threads are archived anymore, so they're lost eventually anyway. really the only thing worth restoring would be any changes made in the months time.
