Anybody looking for a job in Southern California?

My company and I are looking to hire someone.

Publishing firm. Southern California, Huntington Beach.

Paid internship (around $12+/hr), approximately 16-40 hours a week (flexible hours). Position lasts for 3 months beginning around June/July, with the potential to be hired full time, if you're good.

I am looking for an intern for myself - someone whom I will train, and would work under me.

You would be involved in a wide variety of tasks - from fixing computers, to managing quality assurance testing, to working with vendors in India (via email - so no travel required ), and more.

Ideal candidate will have some technical experience or a technical major (current college students and recent graduates definitely welcome). Experience with any kind of programming or web development (HTML, JavaScript, etc.) would be highly desirable. Experience building & repairing computers (Mac and PC a plus).

If you want to learn and grow professionally, then this could be a great opportunity for you. I can teach you a lot, if you are willing to learn. And, if you work out well, then a permanent position with room to grow is definitely possible.

As someone that has those qualifications and is looking for a good solid job, I would be interested.

As someone that lives on the exact opposite coast, this is too far away for a temporary position.

If you're ever looking to hire for a full-time permanent position of the like, look me up however.

The way the company works, we generally hire people as interns first, or on a trial basis.

That said, if we ever are looking to fill a specific full time position in IT, I'll probably make another post here in the future.

I didn't think anyone here is really nearby, but it's worth a shot.
