I find Taco Bueno to be the superior fast food Mexican choice by far, but their availability isn't nearly what Taco Bell's is right now, so I know it's not a viable alternative for most.Comment

For fast food Mexican, I go to El Burrito Loco or El Famous Burrito. It's fast food, but it's Mexican fast food, not American pretending to be Mexican fast food.Comment

It would remind me too much of when I used to make homeless nachos w/ dorritos, hamburger, cheese, salsa, and ranch dressing.
I like Chipotle, Moe's, and Qdoba, good stuff.
Apparently El Burrito Loco is a 20 minute drive? What would I get there?

Forget the chains. Just wander into the most Mexican place you can. The kind with mariachi blasting from the kitchen and a lot of yelling in Spanish.
There's a million around here, and they're all great. There's like two million Mexican food carts around here as well. If you see someone selling burritos out of a trailer in the parking lot of an abandoned laundromat, you should hit that up.Comment
