    PSP Question

    My PSP has been acting up recently;

    If I turn it off, or put it in standby with a game running, it resets to the dashboard. Just recently started happening(Yesterday in fact). Additionally, it sometimes doesn't recognize data installs. Both started occurring when playing The 3rd birthday.

    Its a release model PSP, purchased release week, the memory card is relatively new(about a year old).

    So the questions are:
    Is the restarting to dashboard a bad sign?
    Is the memory card reading a symptom?
    Should I just buckle down and purchase a new PSP, since it was recently lowered in price?

    And I'm damned if I do and I'm damned if I don't
    So here's to drinks in the dark at the end of my road
    And I'm ready to suffer and I'm ready to hope

      Re: PSP Question

      If it were me, I would copy my save data, reformat the stick, then move the save data back over. But that's just me. I have no idea if that would actually work. Sorry! That's all I got.
