What is worth getting for the PSP?

I have my PSP, Lumines (which is amazingly great), Wipeout Pure (pretty, but I suck at it, still), and that's it.

    Anything else worth getting?

Anything on the horizon worth getting? The only thing I'm looking forward to is like, Armored Core and Virtua Tennis...

If you've an open mind, try Mercury.

Death Jr. comes out next week, looks to be a solid platformer.

Metal Gear AC!D is good if you don't think "huhuhuh gay cards"

Hot Shots Golf is really fun and rewarding (probably my favorite PSP game next to Lumines)

And like you said, Virtua Tennis and Armored Core look pretty sweet.

Twisted Metal Head-On is awesomely fun and cool I recommend very much. I have wipeout as well and I have MG Ac!d, which I'm still getting the hang of. It's cool but kinda different consept.

If you want a good racer besides Wipeout, you can try Ridge Racer, which i think is the best racer on the system, or you can do Midnight Club 3, which is an almost exact port of the console versions.

AC:FF has the problem of not being able to directly control your AC. But I hear that customizing one and making the perfect AI to go along with it and pitting it against other players through Wi-Fi is very involving and addictive.

Damnit. Now I want a PSP. The whole internet stuffz is too cool to pass up.
                ...and that's why.

They changed the American version so that you can control your AC.

Re: What is worth getting for the PSP?

I have Rengoku, Metal Gear Ac!d, Untold Legends: Brotherhood of the Blade, and Dynasty Warriors. Here's my opinions:

Rengoku: This is a hack and slash dungeon crawl type game. The whole point of the game is to battle your way up nine levels of an enormous tower, gaining new weapons and boosting your robot's abilities. That's pretty much the whole game. It can be fun if you aren't looking for something incredibly deep and involving.

Metal Gear Ac!d: Before you think about getting this, remember, this game is like a hybrid of Metal Gear Solid, Final Fantasy Tactics, and Yu-Gi-Oh: Deulists of the Rose. In other words, it is a tactical stealth card game. You draw a hand, then use your cards to move and fight accordingly. The only problem I have with the card system is that it randomizes everything, which can screw you big time.

Untold Legends: This is the only game to not only sieze my interest, but maintain it for long periods of time. It's basically a Baldur's Gate: Dark Alliance variant. If you like action hack-n-slash dungeon crawling this is a definite must have.

Dynasty Warriors: It's Dynasty Warriors for the PSP. It also has you make some tactical decisions as you move your unit from one battlefield to another, which adds a level of strategy to the mix. If you like Dynasty Warriors, this is worth a shot.

I only have Lumines and Untold Legends for mine, but yeah, Untold Legends is a pretty good Diablo-esque dungeon crawler.

Untold Legends got boring for me so quickly. It was just another cookie-cutter hack and slash with nothing extra.

Medival Legends and Death JR. (which is out today!) I have on pre-order, so those will be good. Uh.... they're porting MegaMan Legends to the PSP, so that's gonna rock.... errr.... and Burnout: Legends is going to be out sometime in September.

I am coming for all of you!
