How have you made money using the internet?

I'm recently broke as hell, so just wondering what online things have you done to make money?

For me: used to write reviews and epinions.com, did some website graphics and website design

No hacking, spam, or scams please.

Aside from eBay and all that, my friend told me about this group where you get a penny every time someone clicks on your video on YouTube (then it gets upgraded to a nickel, then a dime.....). Pretty sure that's why videos with titles like "TOILET EATS FACE" or "NAKED GIRLS FIGHTING!!!!" are all over the web (even though it's just someone's v-blog.

Constantly update with ill-informed, extreme opinions about current events.

Use tools like facebook, stumbleupon, and reddit to network.

Cover your page with ads

Design a game.

Tell people it's only in beta. Ask them to donate money to help you run/develop it. Donaters get bonus in-game stuff.

claim you're trying to get into college. Again ask people to donate you money.

Be sure to include sob stories, videos of yourself (or your cute, talented cousin), or yourself and your 5 kids. Tug them heartstrings.

Have some talent. Make neat, usable things. Sell them on craft websites.

Be a collector. Make sets of items. Sell them on Ebay for extreme amounts.

Had some ads on a previous version of my webcomic's page. Worked out quite nicely; just a little bar under the menu (they were text links, no images), relatively innocuous, and in return a flat rate payout of $20 a month. Did that for about a year, then the economy took a dive and the company doing the ad thing went tits-up. Probably had it coming, they were paying me way too much. Not that I'm complaining, mind you, but it was a bad business model.

If you've got web design skills like you said, try the Naughty Adult Web Sites!

Those are about the only people who don't care if you have a degree or whatever. They just want results.

AND they pay well!

Not only have I managed to supplement my income with steady part time work this way, I actually met the woman I am going to marry in the not too distant future!!

Furthermore, these people are the best people I ever worked for. When my car was broken down, and I wrote the guy I do steady work for to explain why I wouldn't be online at my usual time and whined about how much work my car needed - he replied by telling me that he just sent me $400 to help cover the cost.

This is in contrast to my day job employer who told me to just push the car down the street to the mechanic.

Yup - I Love Perverts!! Great people to know, and even better people to work for.

make videos on youtube for 4 years until you eventually get lucky and someone starts paying you.

Not attractive enough to sell my body on craigslist, bummer.

My web skills are now badly outdated, can't do the porn thing.

Don't own anything worth selling.

Don't have any interesting videos.

on etsy you can probably make all sorts of stupid handmade crap and sell it.

if you have attractive friends and a camera you can go to thrift stores and flip a bunch of stuff on ebay and make money.

if you arent brain-dead you can play poker online and print money.
