So I got my first (paying) screenwriting job

It's an indie horror film my friend is making (called Collection). He said I'll get a percentage when it goes into distribution.

Mostly, I'm just excited I got an actual screenwriting job! (Wish us luck!)

    Break a leg.

I'm not big on horror films, but I will look for it when it comes out, if I remember.

Good luck. Although I hope you're getting at least a little bit up front in case it doesn't get picked up for distribution.

I will be your slave for life if you put in a character named "Mora" that licks a girl to death.

That's so exciting! Congrats, 162! I hope you guys have fun working on the screenwrite.

(Also, I fully agree with naming a character "Mora".)

                              EXT. ALLEYWAY - NIGHT

RYNER (Unknown), a mysterious figure, walks down the alley, seemingly uncaring of much. A clatter is heard, drawing his attention. A cat walks out, meows, then slinks away. Ryner walks down the alley as the cat is heard meowing. Suddenly, a struggle is heard, and the meowing stops. Ryner, slightly alarmed, stops, then continues. He walks.

Suddenly, footsteps are heard. He stops, as does the footsteps. He turns, nothing. He walks again, the footsteps begins, this time accompanied by sobbing. He stops, turns, nothing but silence and the empty alley. He's speed walking. Sweat graces his brow as his eyes are wide with some terror. The footsteps are quick now, and the sobbing has become moans. He turns, still speed walking, and finds silence and emptiness again.

He turns back and almost runs into 162 (21), a young girl in an old gypsy dress and Noh mask, who reaches her hands out towards him.

Ryner screams a shrill scream and runs away. The cat runs out, causing him to trip over it, do a face plant, and resort to scrambling away and screaming like a wuss.

162 removes her mask, revealing her blue, exotic eyes and beauty mark.
