I recently ordered a BTTF Flux Capacitor Unlimited Edition prop replica from one site, and today I threw down a pre-order on a Max Factory Big-O and R.Dorothy figure at another site. At least the last two are pre-orders, so i dont have to pay for them till like june or july. I'll also get Roger and Norman when those pre-orders go up.

With shipping and everything it all comes to around $700. My wallet hurts. I never spend this much on useless ****, but cmon man. Its a gigantic Big-O, and a flux capacitor.

If it helps I plan on wiring the flux capacitor into the dash of my car.

Video games mostly, books a close second, the occasional Transformer(The new generations line, and reveal the shield are AMAZING molds) or video game toy(Just bought a Revoltech Aigis from Persona 3).

ie, meaning overpriced drinks at bars and clubs; I never keep liquor just around.

Just ordered a set of Etrian Odyssey III gashapon toys/figures/whatever, a figure of the medic girl from EO II, a game/figure/clock set from one of the Atelier games (it was dirt cheap, even though it's long out of print...it comes with a GBC game (!)), a promotional Dreamcast alarm clock, and some import Sega Saturn games from Play-Asia (they were also all dirt cheap).


Fairly soon, I will own a new-in-box Casio Loopy, and possibly a Rachel Alucard (from BlazBlue) PVC figure (it's $155....) and also possibly an Epoch Super Cassette Vision complete in box. I found both of those consoles on some website buried in the detrius of the internet, and both were unbelievably inexpensive. Too bad the exchange rate and shipping prices are horrible.


Why, oh why did I start importing? I can feel an addiction beginning to grow.

Most all of my disposable income goes towards alcohol.

I also have a problem collecting musical instruments and gadgets that I cannot play or take full advantage of. Yet.

I keep a stock of St. Pauli Girl Special Dark or Red Stripe, depending on my mood. And Jagermeister, Stolichnaya vodka, or random types of rum. Usually only one beer and one liquor at a time, though right now my fridge has a few St. Pauli's and Red Stripes, and bottles of all three liquors at half mast in the freezer. And Skittles Vodka.

Then I buy books. Lots and lots of books. I own probably 150 books I have yet to read, despite reading 2-3 books a month, but I can't stop myself buying them when I find ones I need for decent prices.

Video games come after that, cause I do play WoW and other stuff.

I try not to buy silly decorations and trinkets because I simply don't have the space to display it all properly, but probably once or twice a year I buy some new nerdy artifact.

Biggest waster overall: restaurants.

Biggest waster this week: iTunes.

Previous big waster: board games. Not so much anymore, since I've hit a threshold where purchasing any more is kind of embarrassing, since I haven't even played some of the ones I have.
