Re: Diet and Exercise.
Good call on the sodas. It's a good idea to avoid "drinking calories" altogether. Unless it's beer.
Keep it up, dude. I'm proud of you.
Unfortunately, you're kind of a prime candidate for heart problems. That **** concerns me.
Nate Dogg didn't get capped while cruising the hood with Warren G. He had a ****ing heart attack.
I'm not in my preferred physical shape, either. I have a problem with overeating. I just stuff myself to the point of pain. I love food as well. I love eating. I love pizza. Ice cream. Burritos. I could ****ing nom nom all day.
One thing I heard someone say that has kind of helped me stave off scarfing down a fourth meal is "Hunger is your body burning fat."
I guess I need to learn to accept being hungry. It's hard.Last edited by Alex; 03-17-2011, 10:30 PM.

You are absolutely right. In fact, he had had two strokes, the second rendering his left side paralyzed. I have no intentions of getting to that point, and I'm fortunate enough not to be diabetic as well (got a blood test done back in December).Unfortunately, you're kind of a prime candidate for heart problems. Same here. I love pizza, ice cream, doritos (I caved and bought some earlier today). One piece of advice my friend gave me is that if I get more, smaller meals a few hours apart, it would alter my metabolism and then I wouldn't get hungry as much. I should really start doing that. If that plan fails, I think I should just chew gum. I bought 140 sticks, so they should last a while.I'm not in my preferred physical shape, either. I have a problem with overeating. Re: Diet and Exercise.
I just eat whatever the crap I want and remain fat.
Because $1 3 liter sodas with 1300 calories total is so good!
Although I have no idea if that's a lot.Last edited by Red Dragon; 03-18-2011, 02:03 PM.

1300 calories is just over half the total a person is supposed to consume on a daily basis. I wish I had quit drinking soda earlier. I honestly don't miss it at all.Originally posted by Red Dragon View PostI just eat whatever the crap I want and remain fat.

Re: Diet and Exercise.
Well, have you tried Arnold Palmer? That's the 1/2 Iced Tea/Lemonade mix, and it usually keeps me perky.Originally posted by Red Dragon View PostI tried giving up on soda. Then I realized I was way too tired for work and lifting freight at 4AM required some sugar throughout the day.
I would not suggest that 5 hour energy stuff. It's pure crap. Also, don't drink those Rip It! Energy drinks. It will make you crash BIG time.

Re: Diet and Exercise.
I've tried those 5 hour energy stuff once. Just to see.
I still felt tired, but my body couldn't stop shaking so I felt like I was tired, and high.
I've tried drinking green tea in the morning instead. Hoping that it was help my metabolism and also have enough caffeine to at least get me though the morning. But I felt like I was drinking medicine every time I tried, so I gave up.
The palmer stuff isn't bad. Still a lot of sugar however so it's not really a fair trade-off for the price.
I've been trying to eat at least a tiny breakfast in the morning. Usually an apple or something.
Despite the fact that I say I am fine with being fat, in reality I am trying to lose it. Or at least change my lifestyle a bit to accommodate. But then I find something cheap to eat and full of fats and sugars and my price-quantity brain goes into effect.Last edited by Red Dragon; 03-18-2011, 04:07 PM.

They're only 125 calories a piece, and it comes with some neat granola to put in either your strawberry, blueberry, or peach yogurt. Just a suggestion, but I'm always open to some for myself too. Also, the tea you drink, is it usually sweetened or unsweetened?

Re: Diet and Exercise.
Indeed, I've been on chicken and dumplings myself.good for you being on a diet. don't underestimate the power of a can of Healthy Select chicken and rice soup. I could eat just those for the rest of my life.
Of course, they're also loaded with sodium anyway :sLast edited by DK; 03-18-2011, 06:23 PM.

Oh, well, Imaginari is for things people create, so I wasn't thinking this video I made was suitable for GD.Originally posted by josh View Postgood for you being on a diet. don't underestimate the power of a can of Healthy Select chicken and rice soup. nah. like 70 calories a serving, 2 servings per can. I used to cook em when I worked at Target. it's a quick, cheap meal.Originally posted by Bon View PostOh, well, Imaginari is for things people create, so I wasn't thinking this video I made was suitable for GD.
