I just got a PNY Attache USB Flash Drive. It came with a USB cable that connects to it, and then something else. My question is: what is the point of the cable? The end that attatches to other things looks just like the regular end of the USB Flash Drive itself.

The cable is for use if (while using a regular desktop) you only have a USB drive on the back of the machine. Therefore, you plug the cable in the back and leave it there, so whenever you use the Flash Drive you dont have to move the tower and reach around the back to plug it in.
Pretty simple to figure out, really.
