I used to put some weight in game ratings. But now the only reviewer I follow with any regularity is Yahtzee, who eschews scores with a vengeance. Although I admit I still check out Metacritic on occasion when deciding whether or not to buy a cheap game I don't know much about.

Other two things, not much to say. People are douchebags, what else is new?

article was a snooze fest. i dont really care much for the gaming community and its mic trash. i noticed it a lot playing black ops but just muted each talker by hand. i also was abysmally bad at the game, just couldnt summon enough energy to care to get better.

Yahtzee is the only reviewer i check after and even then i dont see it for the review as i do for the comedy. i look to game faq ratings to see about a game ive not heard of, otherwise i buy what ive tried at my friends.

Well, we could at least adopt a simpler 5 star system.

I don't like 5 star systems. Not enough range and a little too vague.

Not that it matters much, anyway. I generally don't read game reviews, anymore. Instead, I look up videos and let's plays and decide if the game actually looks fun.
