There are a lot of episodes from this season that didn't get much airplay. I seem to recall they rarely showed reruns of the hockey episode or the one featuring lisa's rival, while I'd see the treehouse of horror or the stonecutters episode ad naseum... maybe it was just my crappy fox affiliate.

Ahh, the Stonecutters Episode. My favorite! The Comet one was also good. And the Australia episode!

That was the perfect season if there ever was one...

I taped pretty much every episode (up until season 10) on VHS, commercials edited out, uncut (since I caught them the night they aired). I still want these DVDs.

They cut a lot of stuff out of the syndicated ones, Mr. Mora. The commentary is also a very enjoyable bonus.

yep, dvds is better. you'll see all new stuff you never knew was in the episodes unless you were watching from episode one and have a perfect memory. plus a billion other bonuses.

Awsome, Season 6 was back during the golden age of The Simpsons (the Stonecutter episode was always one of my favorites), much better than the crap episodes in recent seasons.
