Never really got into into ALttP. I've made it far into it. But after playing the N64 games, it didn't quite grab me like the rest have.

I'm a sucker for piano. Though Wind Waker had my all around favorite sound design though.

TRIPLE THREEWAY TIE. Ocarina, Wind Waker, and Twilight.

Ocarina's epic final showdown, then he gets to live out his childhood again. Wind Waker's beautiful waterfall surrounded final boss, then Link continues to pursue a life of adventure. And Twilight when Midna turns back into a (human I think?) and almost confesses her love to Link. :'3

I must've rented Ocarina a dozen times before my Dad bought it for me. It was 70$ and he couldn't afford it. But almost every other weekend he'd take me out and let me rent it. Then one day he picked me up from school and surprised me with a cartridge of the game. I was soooo stoked. Apparently for months he would stop through the pawn shops looking for the game, and one day he lucked out and found one. I still have that (gray) cartridge, no manual or box, worn label, and it's probably my favorite memory related gift I still have.

I'm excited for Ocarina of Time 3D. Skyward Sword on the other hand with it's Crash Bandicoot inspired artstyle and Nintendo's view on difficulty for the past few years, has me expecting it to be complete ****ass.

This is how Skyward Sword should look like.

      Favorite Game:
      A Link to the Past

      Least Favorite:
Ocarina of Time (It's not bad, but it's the one I have the least desire to play again)

      Rank the Games:
      Link to the Past>>>>>>Wind Waker>Twilight Princess>Legend of Zelda>>Majora's Mask>Adventure of Link>Ocarina of Time

I'm not including the handheld ones, because it would be too hard to rank them.

      Favorite Music:

Outside of this, Wind Waker had some incredible music, especially the title screen and Ocean theme.

      Favorite Ending:
Not Ocarina of Time's, because all it did was screw with everybody. I would say Wind Waker, for it's epic battle with Ganondorf.

      Favorite Item:

      Favorite Weapon:
Besides the Master Sword, I would say either the bug catching net or the hookshot from Link to the Past. Probably the hookshot.

      Favorite Moment:
Stepping into Hyrule Castle for the first time in Link to the Past. Prior to that moment, the only music you had ever heard in a Zelda game was the few songs in Zelda 1, a few songs in Zelda 2, and like 2 or 3 in ALttP, thus the epicness blew me away. That is when you realize, this is going to be an awesome game.

      Favorite Character:
      Link and/or Ganondorf

      Related Memories:
I was in the hospital for chemotherapy several years ago, and it was around the time that the Oracle of Seasons/Ages games were coming out. I remember being allowed to leave the hospital so that my mother and I could go buy the games. They were some good games.

      The Future:
Ocarina of Time 3D doesn't really excite me, but even if they remade Link to the Past in 3D, I wouldn't be that excited. Skyward Sword.... I'm not sure. Nintendo isn't dumb with their big games, so I think it'll be alright, not the best Zelda game though.

I loved the first and Link to the Past, but I was pretty young...though I think LTTP still holds up. Ocarina was ok, and Twilight Princess angered me for wasting my time. I'm going to give the 3DS version a shot to give it a 2nd chance though. Nothing is more frustrating than when everyone likes something that you don't.

Ocarina of Time, or Wind Waker. I dunno, those two are tied for me.

          Least favorite game.

Link's Adventure. it's not a bad game, it's just too hard for me to even enjoy

          6. Four Swords Adventures
          7. The Legend of Zelda
          8. Link's Adventure
I've never played Twilight Princess. my Gamecube stopped working before it came out and I never got a Wii, though I'm considering getting one with my tax return as I feel there are finally enough good games for me to justify it.

Legend of Zelda is the first game I ever played (not the first one I ever beat though. but I did watch my dad beat it). it captured my imagination when I was little. it came out before I was born, but I remember playing it when I was three years old and telling my mom what was happening while she watched. I used to pretend I was Link in the woods behind my house.
when Ocarina of Time came out, I didn't have an N64 to play it on, so I would ride my bike to my friend Brandon's house and that I could play it. we beat it over the course of a week after school. SIGH, MEMORIES.

Your hopes for Skyward Sword, Ocarina 3D and the future of the series.
honestly, I'm not expecting much from it. at this point, every Zelda game is exactly the same as the last. that's not a bad thing, as they're all a lot of fun to play, but it just feels stagnant. like, everyone's too afraid to ever say anything bad about a Zelda game, so Nintendo will never feel the need to do anything really innovative with the series. I'm expecting to play and enjoy Skyward Sword, but I'm really not expecting it to blow me away.
it's funny, in the past, before the release of a new Zelda game, anticipation and excitement seemed to build and build and build from the moment it was announced to when it was actually released. but with Skyward Sword, I keep forgetting it's even coming out.
Ocarina of Time for the 3DS is great, in my opinion. it's one of my favorite games of all time and I'm looking forward to having it available to play wherever I am.

            Midna

            Related Memories:
Ocarina of Time was a Christmas gift, but it did not come as a surprise for me. For one, I tore open a bit of the package to look inside, before I was supposed to. More importantly, my parents decided to hide the player's guide for it within my own bookshelf. I got caught sneaking the peek due to my sister telling (and she peeked at a present, too!), but they never found out I saw the player's guide.

My hopes for Skyward Sword, Ocarina 3D, and the future of the series:
Don't really have any. I don't actually find the series hopeless, but so long as they don't rely on the system's gimmick for the majority gameplay (like with the DS games), I don't expect to be disappointed.

That said, I don't really have any interest in Ocarina 3D.

For the record, I didn't mean this to be a rigid survey about Zelda.

Just a springboard for a big, fat Zelda love(and other emotions)-fest.

You can guys say anything about Zelda, it doesn't have to follow any kind of format.

...Though it seems to be going well~

Link's Awakening - Hands down my favorite is the gameboy's first outing with Zelda. It had great music, and a great island to explore and mystery at everyturn. I remember calling the help line many times more than I should.

I don't like the art style. I mean why can't they do like in Naruto and use cell shading and make the comic in the Nintendo Magazine come to life in the game?

I really haven't played much of the console games but I currently have the Zelda Collector's Edition, Wind Waker, and Twilight Princess. I can't decide if I should play them in chronological order or by interest.

we've had young Link, teenager Link, adult Link, cartoon Link... next game should star Old Link.

Gran Torino + Zelda. Link tells octoroks to get off his lawn and then shoots em with the hookshot.

That would be wonderful. But Nintendo would never go for that in all likelihood, unless Hideo Kojima suddenly began heading the franchise.
