Xenogears is one of the best RPGs I've ever played.
It's also one of the worst.

It's got a lot of dumb pacing issues but it's part of what makes Xenogears, Xenogears and I absolutely love the game in spite of all it's flaws.

I still have my copy. Game was victim of being too ambitious. That's what also makes it so memorable and fantastic. It still stands as one my favorite battle systems in an RPG easy.

I honestly don't hate much of anything about Xenogears aside from the slow text crawl and the occasional times where you wouldn't see a save point for two hours.

I can't really force myself to sit down and play a turn based random encounter game in 2011.

If I played it when it was released, maybe nostalgic value, but ehhhh...

I'll certainly give it the old college try to play more than 2 hours into it. But with TO being played currently, and Radiant Historia also coming out on Tuesday, it might be a bit rough.
