    Dresden Files

I stumbled upon this fantasy series a few weeks back. I think it's the cat's meow. It's about a wizard in Chicago who fights vampires, werewolves, fearie queens, and even a plant monster from the garden section of Wal-Mart. They're pretty neat and I recommend them to all. The author Jim Butcher, seems to have a paviliony style of writing.

Oh and apparently it's also slated to be a tv series for the Sci-Fi channel, I think, and there's a bunch of fuss on the net about James Marsters(Spike from Buffy) playing Harry Dresden.

The Cyclops having only one eye, needed to seek shelter from the harsh sun. The shadow cast by the spheres gave him temporary respite.

Sounds quite similar to Kim Harrison's 'witch in Cincinnati who fights vampires, werewolves, warlocks, and even some fairies.' It's the Rachel Morgan series, and it can be quite girly at times, but it's a humorous read and well written.

As for Dresden Files, someone's once recommended them to me before, but I have a hard time getting into new series. Maybe I'll check it out.

But no plant monsters from Wal-Mart?

      No?

      Didn't think so.

Do they happen to have any goblins that dwell within toilets? Because that would be hilarious. Huh huh, butt goblins.

The series does sound interesting, to say the least. Battlingf a plant monster in a Walmart? Very reminiscient of Earthbound.

Its ok to like goosebumps or goosebumps rip offs.

or something like that gay Marvin Mystery show.

              sounds like that.

Maybe if you're twelve, but this isn't a series for kids. It's more like the X-files with magic.

More like Yu-gi-oh and your mom. And my penis is the heart of the cards.

Witch Hunter Robin was described as X-Files with magic. And we all know how that ended up.
