I spent all of Spring Break writing articles and developing stories for a whole comedy section of the newspaper I work for so Agent Kootex took a serious back burner to everything else this week.

Not to mention there will only be a few more Kootex comics before I kill him so...

I will be starting a new comic.

I'm killing Agent Kootex because of a number of reasons. The primary one being that the majority of people were immediately turned off at the idea of a living tampon character, thus killing any chance of them ever reading or enjoying my comic. I feel like I've come a long way in my writing and drawing but most people will never know or care simply because of the tampon. Most people at my college have the idea that "agent kootex is disgusting, therefore, i hate it" and I'm really sick of it.

I've put up with it for 2 years and now I'm ready to move on.

I'm going to be a starting a new comic about a Senator. That's all i really know at this point.

I want to start fresh and use the knowledge and experience I've gained writing comics for the past two years to create a comic that appeals to more people.

I've also learned that most people love simplicity. The majority of people I talk to prefer my "Floating Together" fetus comic to Agent Kootex. I probably spend 6 hours a week on Agent Kootex and 20 minutes a week on Floating Together.

That was another indicator that I could probably create something better than Kootex.

I love Kootex, but I guess it's his time to enter that great vagina in the sky. I'm excited to see what this new comic is gonna be like, though. the website better have hidden pictures of monkeys like kootex did. it's the only way.

Yeah, it's not really because Floating Together is better, it's because people like easy-to-read simple crap. I'm not saying it's crap, but most people like stuff that's easy to digest, and that they don't have to actually think to understand the humor.


Oh well. As the unofficial #1 fan of Agent Kootex, it's sad to see it get the axe, but I guess if you can make something new that keeps up the standards of Kootex then all is well.
