    Immersion

I am probably late to the game on this one, since it's already on episode 7, but it's definitely an intriguing premise (albeit not an incredibly original one, since it's largely just a amateurish video game-themed Mythbusters with a lot less actual science going into it). Watch the first three and most of the fourth (for some reason the video cuts off during Gus's side-scrolling attempt), and while the pilot (which deals with attempting to drive a car in third person) was still the best use of the idea, they've all been at least somewhat entertaining. Which is an impressive achievement in the case of the second episode; I'm not sure there's ever been a genuinely amusing video that contained the Mega 64 people before.

    See for yourselves.

      Re: Immersion

I saw a Mega 64 thing once with Shenmue. It was amusing. I saw one more with a shopkeeper from Resident Evil or something. It wasn't amusing.

These are the only two Mega 64 things I've seen. So for me, 50%.

I should probably point out this video series comes from Rooster Teeth, the guys who did Red vs. Blue. The Mega 64 people just guested in the second one, where they proved to not even be able to trash talk in an entertaining (or effective) manner.
