Prinny Panty Quest

So I just read the description of the sequel to the Prinny game on PSN, and it seems that the main "storyline" of the game is for the army of Prinnys (I played some of the first one...you'll need all 1000) to retrieve Etna's panties. No joke.


Okay, this is a bit much even for me. I mean, I don't mind the, "Tee, hee....here's a double entendre" things found in some of these games, but to blantantly state that the main quest involves finding the panties of a (very flat-chested...and they OF COURSE draw attention to this fact throughout the entire Disgaea series) character who looks to be about 13 or 14 (I honestly have trouble telling anime girls' supposed ages sometimes unless they're stated)...I'm sorry, but that's going a bit overboard, methinks.

Actually, she is roughly 14,000 years old... or was it 1,400. Bah doesn't matter. Either way you put it, she is 14 physically speaking which makes this really creepy.

Already? It's not even been an hour!


And for the record, I DID buy the first Prinny game (I think I might have also purchased a downloadable version once when it went on sale or something), and though it was pretty rough (read: very rough), it was okay the bit that I played. My ineptitude at platformers and lack of patience didn't help matters.


I dunno what it is, but games like MegaMan or this or something, when I continue to lose or fail or whatever, I get frustrated and give up. Demon's Souls is really no different in that regard (continually dying), but it spurned me on that much more.

there aren't many reasons to make me want a PSP, but daaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaamn this series is enticing. the brutal difficulty and graphics and sense of humor have my interest picqued to the maxxx.

The humor is very tongue in cheek. If you follow the Disgaea story at all you'll want to play it, it continues Asagi's story.

Having beaten almost every Disgaea game, I only see Etna as a *****y side character.

Because shes never an actual main character? Prinny 2 is quite good, and builds upon the first a great deal.

With that said the original Prinny was fun and I'll probably pick this one up too.
