Chick-Fil-A Responds to Antigay Event

I don't agree with only providing free food to events that further "traditional marriage", but I can't help that fact that I love their food (even though I've only had it three times). They do really need to do some free catering for a GLBT event, though. It will never happen because the CEO of Chick-fil-A is a Christian (Chick-fil-A is even closed on Sundays), but it would be a good gesture. Now, let this turn into a religious debate, or...

...has anyone tried the new Spicy Chicken Biscuit on the C-f-A breakfast menu? Of course, I haven't, since the nearest Chick-fil-A is over two hours away. But, if you have, please explain it in very great detail, and please feel free to describe your emotions while you ate it, as well.

Better yet, if you have plans to eat one in the future, please submit pics or perhaps a video-journal. Because if, someday, Funk's hard drive should be looked at by an authority figure, this is the sort of thing that should be in the legal record.

The article doesn't outright say that Chick-fil-A's denied requested catering for GLBT events, though, so I don't know what to think.

If there's some proof of them refusing to cater to them, then I'm sad and won't support them anymore, which sucks. Their chicken is tasty and I won't be able to tell you if their spicy chicken biscuit is any good~

And honestly, if that turns out to be the case, I'd warn anyone, gay, straight, whatever, from supporting Chick-fil-A. It's not just a gay issue. These traditional marriage zealots won't stop at restricting GLBT rights.

Unfortunate, but not surprising, given that it's by far the most overtly Christian of the major fast food chains. Headquartered around here too, smack in the Bible belt. Wouldn't impact me eating there, though. It has to be something pretty severe for me to outright boycott a business, and simply exercising the "right to refuse service" cliche isn't going to do it.

Dominoes, however, that one is easy to do. I was already boycotting because they totally suck, now I can do it for one more reason.

If you carefully read the article, it doesn't mention that anyone was refused anything. They simply noted that Chick-fil-A catered some "traditional marriage" events. They didn't say that the company ever refused to cater gay events. Perhaps the gays just eat healthier?~
