****atiel is filtered, so you know what I'm talking about hopefully.
Earlier today my brother and I were eating at Chipotle, when we walked outside there was a group of people looking at a Cokatiel on the roof of a nearby movie theater. We walked by to take a look at bird ourselves. You don't see an exotic bird like a Cokatiel flying freely through a densely populated area like Denver...really ever. Anyway we went inside to take a look at when Batman Begins next showing was, no movies were playing at the time, so we were headed back to the car when the Cokatiel flew to a small tree on the way. he was much closer so we looked for a bit, then all the sudden he flew right at us, my reflexes made me duck, then when I looked up, the bird was casually chilling on my brother right shoulder. He was friendly, he nibbled at Rees' hair and just sat there, sqawking occasionally. He was probably hungry and thirsty, chances of him surviving in an area like that were pretty much none.
So, we walked back to the car and stepped in, I offered to run in to a Petco and buy a cage & food for him. Rees dropped me off and I walked in to get a cage and Cokatiel food, I noticed there was a white, larger Cokatiel priced at $150. Quite a find don't you agree?
Anyway, we don't have a name for him! I'm looking for some suggestions. Here are some pictures of him also. He's very pleasant to have around, he is hand-feedable, but he doesn't like it when you put your fingers near him, like all birds probably.
