I have the beta on PC as well.

      It's pretty bad.

Combat is cool, then you get to max level in 2 days and have nothing to do but grind for gear.

Oh and for a game that boasts you can replicate Super Man. There's no freakin super strength powerset. Apparently Super-Man's Ice Breath is his signature powerset. The rest you have to take Punching skills. Woo~

I am in the PC beta. It was okay, for about 3 hours, then I got bored. The whole interface/attacking is clunky as hell. I speced healing, and then I found out I can't even heal people that aren't on my team. THEN I found out that it just "heals the lowest health group member". That is not how healing/buffs should work in games.

lol well to tell the truth i only played about 10 min. superhero games arent really my thing. tried CoH and Champions online to no avail.

the general feel of gameplay i liked. i'd play it for free, but i dont see myself paying for another hero mmo.

I'm in the PS3 beta, and i rather enjoy it. I havent played too far into it so far, but i'm really enjoying what i have played so far.

I dont know if PS3 and PC players will be able to play in final version though, i know the beta tests are separate right now.

I'm updating the PS3 in my gameroom so that i can play on a 47 inch TV.

I've heard the text is tiny.

My two (female) friends from WKC are in the beta, and I was looking for an excuse to get PS Plus, so I bit the bullet and subscribed today. Got the 5 Sam and Max episodes and a bunch of other stuff for free, including this beta. Gonna try it in a bit here.

                    Re: DC Universe Online PS3

With everything that has happened at home since last friday, i havent been able to get much play time in on any games at all (my ex/housemate's father died last friday, so its been a really rough week on all of us).

Might get to put some time into DC Universe this week, maybe i'll be able to join some of you guys.

I might have given up on this already. Yeah, it's sorta fun, but the text is insanely small, forming a party seems kinda unintuitive, and level cap is 20. After 2 days, I was at 9. I really do not see the point in continuing.

Oh, what really is making me give up on this is that my PS3 froze 8 (maybe 9) times in the 8-10 hours or so that I played this. Yeah, I know it's a beta, and that this kind of thing is to be expected (to an extent), but having to do a hard reset on my PS3 THAT many times kinda worries me that the game will eventually kill my PS3. In any case, it can't be good to hard reset that many times in 2 days.

Level cap is 30, I dunno about the text. It's ok on the PC at least. I got to 30 in 4 days.

The game is supposed to be all about end-game. But the end-game sucks.

This isn't like Guild Wars where you get to 20 and you still have a ton of game to get to, and the creators actually care about the game. You just grind stupid looking gear on your ugly characters.

I hate ripping on an Open Beta. But the creators on the forums said this will be the final product with some bug-fixing and polishing. UGH.

Open Beta games are pretty much the final product, take a look at FF14. Same product that was in beta, and it isn't until months later that things start getting fixed, this game will be no different.

the only thing i can say is that FFXIV is practically still in open beta.
                            ...and that's why.

All my crumb-bumbing aside. I still play this on and off because I have it for free and want to see if they indeed make this game any better or not. So far no luck.
