Action Battle System and ATB Systems

I was watching some tutorials and games the were created using RPG Maker VX and instead of the usual battle system that is preset into the software, I see the Final Fantasy-like Battle systems. I also saw some games with Action Battle Systems. I think I might be able to do both if I could get a clear understanding on how to it is implemented. I hope you could shed light on this one.

I'll give a general response to both of your topics:

    Hello sir/madam,

While the community here is superb and you hopefully stick around, I'm afraid we're a bit lacking in the XP/VX department. This site was originally dedicated to the console RPG Makers, and only recently began accepting the PC ones. While there's a few users here that can help you in lots of ways (I have a lot of experience myself, even released my first game recently!), we're still growing in this department and I must admit we're not the best source for things like custom graphics or battle systems.

You might be better off checking a site solely dedicated to XP/VX such as http://www.rpgmakervx.com/. Many of the sites for the PC Makers have archives filled with past content made by users and free to download, I wouldn't be surprised if you find both the items you're looking for.

    But stay here too!

Oh thanks. I was hoping I could get an intricate reply regarding the matter so I could always come back to the thread since there are lots of posts on the forums you were referring me too that I get too confused on which one to try. Thank you for your suggestion. ^_^
