    YouTube apparently no longer has a time limit...

    ...For certain people, that is. And no, I don't mean for partners. It's now opening up for anybody who "has a history of uploading original videos and has complied with the community guidelines", or something like that. Myself included.

    There probably actually is a time limit somewhere in there. But I just managed to upload an hour-and-a-half-long video with no issue.

    Most of you probably don't care, but I thought I'd throw this out here since maybe one of you might.

      Bout time they got rid of that stupid time limit. I was fortunate to get a 'director' status a few years back, so that let me post videos without a time limit (it's not the same thing as a partner account).

      But for everyone else after they stopped doing that, it was retarded. They had a huge limit on the file size of the video, yet kept it restricted to a lousy 10 minutes. Yet it's entirely possible to make a lengthy video with a small size and still keep things in high quality.

        Yeah, really. Like who can create a 2-Gig video that's only ten minutes in length?

          Actually, depending on what software you're using, look at guides to see what settings they use to make HD videos with as small a file size as possible, or even tips to help speed up rendering.

              Ya, I just got the notification too, saying I could upload longer videos. Though I hadn't actually run into any problems with file size myself before that.
