Just saw this movie tonight.
Great flick with an excellent visual eye, spiffy/atmospheric soundtrack and a bizarre... feel to it. It's very Japanese and anime-y - schoolgirls, salarymen, scientists, lunatic rapists, psychics, brains in jars...
If you've ever seen Cube or THX-1138 its plot, structure and even themes are very similar. Extremely modest budget sci-fi movie in one basic setting and the violent and pathetic nature of humanity is exposed.
I don't wanna say too much because the best way to see this, I think, is to know as little as possible. It's real Japanese name is Gusher No Binds Me but the English title, y'know, so you can rent it is the hilariously dumb/awesome Hellevator.
