You can always do El Cid's dead body winning the war against the Arabs.

El Cid de Campeador, he died in the battle of Valencia, which was the turning point in the Spanish resistance to the Moor invasion, the sent his dead body out on horseback and the legend is that it scared away the invaders.

Do some research on The Mars Volta... "De-Loused in the Comatorium" is a CD based on a single Spanish musician who had a bunch of creepy things about him. Off the top of my head, I know he was called like "The Human Map" or something because he had so many scars his skin looked like a map. It's pretty interesting stuff.

On a side note, the new Mars Volta CD (titled: Frances the Mute) comes out March 1.
