...both have new iterations available as downloads. I've not yet played the new version of Pac-Man CE (have the original on a XBLA disc), but from everything I'm reading, it's a prime example of the right way to update a classic (arcade) game to make it relevant for the modern day.
Space Invaders Infinity Gene, however, I HAVE downloaded, and imagine Everyday Shooter, Rez, and a bullet hell shmup thrown into a blender, layer it over a Space Invaders backdrop, and make it hard as balls, and you'll have a pretty good idea what this game is.
It manages to crib the best aspects of these three games/genres and make something that feels new and fresh without seeming derivative of its (apparent) sources of inspiration. In short, you guys should probably download and play it.
