    I've come so far...

This thread is to talk about how far you've come to working with RPGM3.

    I'll start.

Sometimes, I think back to how I couldn't figure out what a "variable" was, or how it worked. I was stuck making a boring and uneventful game.

Then, one day, I finally figured them out. What did this lead to? I spent countless hour tinkering with them, seeing what I could do. I devised a way to reuse entire towns to save massive chunks of NPCs. I created a materia system. Hell, I even created a mech-battle minigame.

All thanks to variables. The thought that I didn't always know how to work a single one astounds me.

Does anyone else have any thoughts?

In 2007 I tried to make a map that didn't suck.

    I still can't.

I can remember being frustrated by the mapping system. Now for the most part I can make any type of map I want. However I still don't like the mapping system. Now if I could just make decent battles, I would have it made.
