    LAST DAY FOR CONTEST ENTRIES.

Remember! We have contests! Contests that end FRIDAY

First, there's "Anything Goes". and literally, anything goes. Any genre, any subject matter (within the rules). All legal RPG Maker software for console and PC are good.

The second category is a bit limited. It's strictly an RPGM1 contest. It's theme? Speedy RPG. again, any genre, any subject matter (within the rules), but your timers for system and scenario cannot exceed 30 hours each. and you are limited to just 1 system and 1 scenario card. No cheating the system. It's limited to RPGM1 because that's the only one that has a creation time stamp for each game.

Each category has their own prize, and you can enter both contests, and even win both.
It's probably too late to start an entry for the "anything goes" contest, but NOT too late for the "speedy RPG" contest! Whip something up, even if it's horrible! There's still time!

You can also submit games you made this year that weren't part of contests earlier this year to the "anything goes" contest! So that means something like "Calculator" could be entered! GAMES AND ENTERING AND CONRWARA~~~~

The keyboard moved a bit while I was typing and I didn't move my hands to compensate for the keyboard movement then that happened.

UPDATE: THIS IS IT! THE LAST DAY! Make sure your submissions are either e-mailed to me or in the submission forum before midnight EST! Once that community news post (that's really overdue) goes up then, anything submitted won't be in the contest.

Since you mention it, I suppose I'll enter my Calculator project for the Speedy RPG. Since it's already on the site, do I need to do anything else to enter it in?

I also promise to have an entry for the Anything Goes contest, though I can't promise it will be good....or make any sort of sense, at all.

Just let me know you want to enter it, that's all that has to be done.

And....there we go. I've just submitted Fatal Furlong to the site. That will be my entry for the Anything Goes contest. I'd also like it to be available on the site on the next update....or whenever you get around to it.

My entry for Speedy RPG is still on, though it doesn't look like the 'Anything Goes' entry of Survival 2 prologue will be in. If the Prologue isn't done by then, I will send in a demo of Survival 2's main game, with cutscenes, new features, and more areas. So it's not a retread of MagCon demo.

Also, if the main game demo is submitted, any 'tutorials' are being removed, so please let me know if you have any trouble with anything.

Most of my Pav Biography unsubmitted thing is done, so I might be able to submit that. However, if I do, by necessity, it'll be submitted in an unconventional way. Well, most likely, there will still be a file that you will have to open using RPGM3. But beyond that...yeah.

                  Re: HEY CONTESTS END FRIDAY.

Sorry to say, but I doubt I'm going to enter the contests. It's just neither are satisfactory at all right now, and I doubt I'll can even clean up S2 for a proper demo.

Even with the extensions, I just couldn't get it done. For the Speedy RPG, I have yet to do half of the features that I wanted, and they are broken in the game itself. So right now they are messes pretty much.

So, good luck to everyone who entered, and Valk, I hope you do "Anything Goes" contests more. But instead of doing S2 for the contest, I'll just take the time on the main game to get it all polished up for just the regular release this month.

(That, and there are several other obligations I have to do that cut into the time for the contest, so there is that reason as well.)

                    Re: HEY CONTESTS END FRIDAY.

The entire concept of my game is not do-able right now. As I mentioned, due to how I designed the game, it would be submitted here in name only. Unless someone else has a video hosting site (Viddler, maybe) where I can host it temporarily until I pay for my blog to host video again, I cannot submit anything. If there are only a few entries, and if I can host at another site (I refuse to use Youtube, because it makes my MPEG4 videos look like ass), I could have it done on Sun or Monday at the earliest.

Mainly, I would need to fix a few small things, put the finishing touches on the ending, do a dry run playthrough, and then one more with vid capture.

I know the question is gonna be, "Why can't you submit it without going through all that?"

The answer is, aside from the Pav Biography spoof angle, the entire concept of the game would be ruined by sumitting it normally.

A game that would only work in conjunction with videos. Very intriguing.

Now that you've teased us, if you don't release us, you owe us an explanation of how it was to work.

(I use 'owe' in the most lighthearted way possible, of course. But you're really making this tempting.)
