Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince

Anyone planning on getting this tommorow? I don't have it pre-ordered but I'm going to Charlie and the Chocolate Factory pretty late so maybe I'll hang out in a store until midnight and see if they sneak a box onto the shelves.
    Lil' Bean is here!

My wife has a copy preordered, but I think it's at the mall so she'll have to wait till tomorrow instead of midnight.
Took me 15 minutes to remember how to change my signature, and this is all I came up with.

Yeah I preordered it off Amazon and will get it with the mail tomorrow. Unfortunately I won't be able to read it right away as I'm at work :-(
Nor will I be able to read the entire book in a single day like OotP because of work, but OH WELL...
Everything is a Riemann sum of a lot of nothing.

I'm going to a midnight party at Barnes and Noble celebrating its release. I figured "why not?"
I hope I'm not going to regret this.

I don't have much time to read the book. I tend to start a book and read it pretty much through in one sitting.

So I will most likely get it in a week or two.

I won't read it because it promotes witchcraft and is unchristian in nature.

I will pray for those sinners who condemn themselves by purchasing and reading it, though.

I still have to read #5, but I definitely will now so I can read this one.

Me too! I'll probably re-read book 4 to refresh my memory of it.

Imagine how many sixth-year fanfics will have their canon destroyed by the official year 6 book...

Oh, and YTMND has a few "Book 6 spoilers" up now. Except, as realistic as they look, I somehow doubt its credibility.

                    So, uh, yeah.

I can't believe people prefer this evil, dark book over the Lord's salvation.

You guys are all in my prayers though.

I preordered it for my dad for Father's Day. I've only read up to the second one.

i would comment on that statement above, but im just gonna keep my mouth shut.

First off, just to let you know, i am a christian.
The harry potter series is a series of (now listen to the key word here) FANTASY books. If a kid cannot distiguish between reality and fantasy, they have no buisness reading the books. They don't promote witchcraft and wizardry, they are just books to ENTERTAIN.

Now if somebody takes it as being real, (even though i do know wikka is a witchcraft cult), they need to just put the book down and wait until they're more mature. And another thing..... If you purchase and read this book, you don't condemn yourself. Yes, I believe with all my heart what the Bible has to say, but the harry potter series is a book for crying out loud. More specifically, it is a FICTION book, unlike the Bible is facts. And don't even try to say that the bible says that it is of the devil.
