My mother's kidneys have failed.
Hopefully the doctors will be able to fix her up. But right now, I'm scared. Very scared. Keep her in your thoughts and prayers. I'm a nervous reck as it is... I'm not sure what I would do without her.

It came as a complete surprise. She is the strongest, healthiest member of the family then within a couple of days this happens. She has more tubes and wires than Darth Vader. They are performing all sorts of tests on her and hopefully they will find something that will help. God it has been a rough year... my great aunt dies, my grandfather on my father's side dies (he was a jerk, but still sucks), Grandma and Grampa were hospitalized (they are still kicking), dog dies, Mom's life is in danger.
