    Survival 2: Arena (Multiplayer Mode!)

So, I was keeping this somewhat secret (somewhat, as in, more of not caring to talk about it than to actually want to spring it on the 3 people that follow S2 if that ).

But yes, I have planned on giving S2 a multiplayer mode. Since it is RPGM1, it will be a pass-the-controller type. But that was obvious.

Originally, it was going to be a part of the main Survival 2 game. You see, S2 starts with a prompt of what scenario you wish to play. It has Prologue or Crescent Hill (main scenario, named after the setting). It DID have 3, with Multiplayer Arena being the third. But since the game uses the same system data as well as running out of room in character creation. Doing it that way would have meant having to restart the system and selecting a completely new game to play it.

So instead it will be separate so it can have multiple characters for the players.

For gameplay, it will be a wave after wave sort of game, with turn-based battles, though the enemies will be slightly weaker than in the main game. You will have multiple maps to do choose from and boss battles at various points. You will have to start from the beginning each time. How many waves and all that, I'll let you find out as the time comes.

Trophies, upgrades, secret characters, and other unlockables will be included. Not to mention future maps (DLC! Not really.) when I feel like it.

I am currently trying to come up with a password system, reminiscent of RPGM2's Tetris, so I can post scores here. How it would work in RPGM1 will be a challenge, but one I am willing to face.

So yeah, I may not have revealed much, but unlike the Prologue, I am planning on releasing this publicly before S2 is finished. Which is also soon, but not enough for a Nov. 3rd deadline.

    UPDATE!

So, to 'win' an arena game, you must beat all 30 waves. 2 waves of normal enemies, then the boss (on 3, 6, 9, etc.).

After bosses is when items restock.

Also, your score is affected by this. Killing enemies adds to your score, but picking up items subtracts. And the multiplayer is only if you choose so, as naturally a single player can control everyone as they are one at a time. And turn based.
