That's what I heard, at least for the original trilogy.

Reading the article would reveal that they are planning on releasing all six movies in 3D.

Lucas needs an expansion to his mansion. Har har, I made a rhyme. Anyway, all movies in 3D is a nice convenient reason to make more money off of fans. I can't say I'm into the 3D thing though.

The prequels COULD have been good if Lucas had not written them, and had let really almost anyone else write the screenplays.

If he's actually writing these next three, and not just coming up with story ideas, I have a feeling they'll be scraping the bottom of the proverbial barrel.

Click the link. He has the audacity to have 50 scripts for the live action TV series ready to go, and is shooting for at least 100 episodes so he can get it syndicated before a single episode has even aired.


You know how they always say "Generation X" is jaded? One need look no further than the prequels for a crystalline example of reasons why (as it applies to mass media and entertainment, anyway).
