    gay vs. straight survey

I thought this was pretty interesting.

    http://blog.okcupid.com/index.php/ga...-straight-sex/

BTW, this is more about personality types and the like, not about sexual acts. If it's too racey it can be moved to the PG.

The Ethnicity / Religious one is also pretty good. Especially the profile "reading level" of Christians vs. Athiests vs. Eastern Religions.

    Things to comment on:
    - Wow, Lesbians love the drugs.
    - Gee, who would have thought Canada and the West Coast would be more gay friendly than the South? :P
    - All my gay dude friends hate sports, so I can see why there's a glaring difference there.
    - Straight men are more religious? Another bombshell!

And, I couldn't help but laugh when "stuff gay men like" starts out as: the devil wears prada, britney spears, mean girls, kelly clarkson, the color purple, project runway Are you guys trying to intentionally stereotype yourselves?

Also, what's up with women thinking the earth is larger than the sun? C'mon (wo)man!

As I said before, stereotypes exist for a reason.

LOL at the fact I live in a "gay-curious" state. Doesn't surprise me though. Doesn't offend me either.

With the people who missed the earth question, the real shame is the ones who aren't gay. At least the gay ones would be less likely to pass on their stupidity through breeding. Whereas the straight people answering that are the ones who'll help make Idiocracy all too prophetic.

There is another question that asks if you think the world would be a better place if people "with low IQs" weren't allowed to reproduce. I don't like the question, I don't know if they mean someone that's retarded or just someone that doesn't have a high IQ.

I said "No", and I'm turned off by girls that answer "Yes"!

                  Re: gay vs. straight survey

Even in the yellow and blue areas, you can see pockets of gay curiosity in interesting places: Austin...
Austin is so gay. But that's really old news, and not surprising in the least.

                  Still, it's an interesting study.

Maybe they didn't mean Austin the city, but Austin the person.

Aw, he really hates it when people refer to him as a pocket, even if it's a pocket of gay curiosity. When will the cycle of hatred end?

The problem with this study is that their data is from dating site profiles. Therefore, people are going to emphasize not only what they like, but also what they think other people they are trying to attract like.

People are rarely honest when answering questions, even in an anonymous survey. Half the lies they tell are to themselves.

I think this can be considered fairly accurate.
