Favorite Godzilla movie?

How long has it been since I've seen Godzilla? I used to love watching those old Godzilla movies as a kid.

My absolute favorite Godzilla movie has to be where he fights with Mechagodzilla. I wasn't too big a fan of the American-made Godzilla movie though.

For all Godzilla fans (myself included), what's your favorite Godzilla pic? Just thought I'd post something fun for you guys.

I guess what I was trying to say is that my favorite confrontation was between Godzilla and Mechagodzilla. My bad.

okay. I just didnt understand which movie you were talking about.

I dont really think I qualify as a godzilla fan. I hate most of the movies, but I've gone out of my way to see them all. Final Wars is probably the best. the fight scenes are really over the top with a lot of wire work and genuinely GOOD special effects.

I don't remember the names of them either. I think it might have been the first Godzilla movie that we used to have on video and I'd watch it over and over. I just thought he was so cool. I hated the American movie. As far as I'm concerned they would've been better off not attaching the Godzilla license to it at all since the only connection seems to be the fact that it was a big lizard.

Seeing the previews, the filmmakers really went all out with Final Wars. I look forward to seeing it. If not in theaters, then definately on DVD.

As far as the American Godzilla is concerned, I hated what they did. He looks so damn thin and had the crappified version of his breath attack. Ugh.
