Is it just me or is it unseasonably hot? It's like 100 ****ing degrees here! It shouldn't be this hot this late in the year.

It's finally down to Fall temperatures here. The first day of Fall the high was somewhere around 94 or so.

The prevailing winds have shifted to a more normal pattern, lessening the heat wave in the midwest and east, and returning it to CA, which has had an incredibly cool summer on average.

But yeah, if you're in the west it's pretty ****ing miserable. LA recorded its hottest day ever (at 113).

Up to 119 I heard in the L.A. area. I talked to a woman during the day and she said it was 107 here in Simi.

That, and there was a fire near my work building. No wind, so it makes it easier for the firemen to put it out.

The sun sucks.

It was like 80's/90's Saturday, then Sunday it was like 60 and raining. I've never been so cold in my life. Seems like it's either too hot or too cold, there is no happy middle anymore.

Yesterday the wind blew cool and I was chilly while standing out in the sunlight. People are wearing jackets.

Actually it's been raining here.

Almost every day. Every. Single. Day.
