facts,
many pav vets know a lot about my years here
as well as my career. some have even been
closely along for that ride, grad school, and now
teaching.
here are a few things about now.
currently i have submitted to the university a
brand new course, all designed by me, for approval.
i was asked to design courses, unique to the university
as well as to myself...meaning only i would be able to
teach them. the course was met with support and will
be up and running next summer for a trial.
the course is called, Micro Cinema. it is tailored to be
cross disciplinary, ie new media and fine arts. i have
combined drawing, creative writing, miniature set construction,
and digital video production elements to meet both of
these departments.
i have also been busy working on examples which i will
link at the bottom. these examples demonstrate issues
about the DMCA, copyright law, and public domain. the 3rd
one might be on the fringe, but i will wait and see what youtube
thinks. keep in mind these will only be a small part of the
overall course. an assignment really.
