    Anyone going to the Colbert/Stewart rally in DC?

    The March to Keep Fear Alive and the March to Restore Sanity will both be taking place on October 30th.

    Anyone planning on going? Hito, our other brother and I are planning on going if we can get money in order, and it'd be cool to meet with some pavvies there.

    It's bread and circuses.

    I don't even know what they're supposed to be rallying for... or against...

    Makes me wonder if they're as bad as the government, now.

      They're doing shows in Washington anyhow. So they decided on this gag making fun of the Glenn Beck and other such rallies. They just have a few hours and some special guests etc.

      No I will not attending but I do think it will be an interesting broadcast.

        It'd be a fun thing to do if you lived in the area. I'm sure the locals would appreciate a chance to blow steam about all the protesting.

        I wish I could go, but it's like Stewart said, I got **** to do.

          Last time I went to DC was July 2008 for Ron Paul. I'll have to see if I have some free time to make this one.

            Sounds like it'd be fun to go to, but I wouldn't be able to make the trip.

              On one hand, they both have a pretty rabid fanbase (even if it's largely a shared one), but on the other, moderates are by their very nature not as fervently passionate as those on the more extreme ends of the spectrum. Getting them to do the whole pilgrimage thing might be a tougher sell.
