I'm not saying there should be. I just remember that quite a few people were talking about/working on making a Dragon Ball Z game on RM1 (I was one of them.) but strangely I haven't heard one word of one for RM2 even though it is supremely more suited for the idea especially with making your own attack VFX for battles. Is the show just not popular enough anymore? Or are the people who wanted to do a DBZ no longer on the Pav? Actually, I could ask the same thing about Final Fantasy & Chrono Trigger remakes/sequels. Seems the RM2 homage of choice is Zelda.

Re: Y no DBZ RPG 4 RM2?
As with any other themed RPGM2 game, if yo don't have the ability to create characters that resemble the original ideas and characters, it probably would not work at all.
Character creation is the key to many of these RPGS...at least that is what I alays felt. A true RPG maker game will feature a way to create any character model you choose, otherwise, it is still very limited right out the gate.

I made an exact copy of yong gohan in picolos outfit using the prince in rpg maker 2 and a krillan with the fighter but krillan had hair in the back but it did look like him but i never made a game with them in it

There's nothing wrong with DBZ, it's just that there's something wrong with it if someone tries putting it on an RPGM. Usually only fAnboiz try to do such a thing, and they usually don't take things too seriously; they just try to throw something together just for the sake of making such a game. It's rare that you'd find someone truly serious about basing a game off the series (or off Final Fantasy or something like that)."What if like...there was an exact copy of you somewhere, except they're the opposite gender, like you guys could literally have a freaky friday moment and nothing would change. Imagine the best friendship that could be found there."

It was for that reason that the idea I had was to make a game based on the DBZ world but with mostly original characters with cameos and tie-ins with the manga/anime.Originally posted by Angry Black Manif yo don't have the ability to create characters that resemble the original ideas and characters, it probably would not work at all.
I just haven't watched the show in a long time. That's why I thought maybe it just wasn't popular anymore and most other people stopped watching it too.Originally posted by tjoris9What are your own reasons for not thinking much anymore about DBZ fan-fic's?I want that Mulan McNugget sauce, Morty!

As far as I know of, only DBGT is on air right now, which is somewhat different than DBZ was."What if like...there was an exact copy of you somewhere, except they're the opposite gender, like you guys could literally have a freaky friday moment and nothing would change. Re: Y no DBZ RPG 4 RM2?
Wow!?! I can't believe I never thought of making an ACBS DBZ game! I recall I made a couple AWESOME DBZ games on RPGM1 (things like the old guy as master roshi, etc...). It just slipped my mind to make one on RPGM2. I don't watch DBZ anymore, and stopped waching it quite some time ago and not barely any of GT have I bothered to see even on. Not sure why?
And honestly I think I'm the cause of the whole Zelda for RPGM2 lol. I made Zelda: Seasons for RPGM1, even with its horrible limits, the only thing that was bad was the battle system was multiple choice based. But now with the whole complexity of RPGM2 I can finally achieve that goal, and kinda have been caught up on that idea.Everything is a Riemann sum of a lot of nothing.
