The demos is out now on 360 and PS3.

Its kinda boring in the demo actually. At least for me anyway. Sure the crazy sliding jet pack gimmick is cool as hell, and in the full game you can probably upgrade it alot, but it just really boils down to it playing almost exactly like Gears of War with bullet time and quicktime events.

Its still pretty cool though. The giant boss at the end of the demo is pretty awesome.

Oh and you cant jump. Or at least I cant figure out how. I know that I really WTF'd when you have jetpacks and can punch holes in walls and slide around at 100mph on your knees, but you cant use your jets to fling yourself into the air or anything. Humph.

EW! Have either of those things ever actually made a game better? With the possible exception of bullet time in Max Payne way back when it was new and fresh.

I played the demo, and I'm sad to say that being a Mikami fan, Vanquish seems to be yet another lesser Gears clone.

Demo was ok. Couldn't help but notice everyone but my guy looked like they were trying to be in Gears of War.

Hate the auto aim. And there's way too much bullet time action.

A faster, leaner, Japaneasier Gears of War with Resident Evil 4/Neo Contra's kitschy goofball presentation.

QTEs were my favorite part of Indigo Prophecy's gameplay. But only because they were the only part of IP's gameplay.
