Gorillaz concert in Dallas

I know several Pavies who are within the area. Ticket sales start soon, if not already, and the show is Oct 20th.


There's one in Houston on the 19th, and Austin on the 22nd, but I'm not sure I can make that drive!

On an unrelated note, Guided by Voices is doing a "reunion" tour with the "classic" lineup. The Vic here in Chicago sold out so quickly (as expected) that they moved it to The Riv(iera), which is a larger venue. Granted, Chicago is probably their biggest city to play in terms of support and fanbase (they played their former "last show ever" here in 2004 on New Year's Eve...it was close to 4 hours long).

I heard tickets for Seattle were 80 bucks. Ehhhh.

They're $50 to $90 before taxes and whatnot for Dallas. =(
