Hey guys, I'm going to be sparse for a while. On Thursday I got violently ill, like a 24-hour thing, and during that time I didn't feel like being on the computer. Alas, when I felt up to using the computer again, I found that our phone was disconnected, and since we use ****ing **** ass dial-up, that means no internet. So now I'm cut off from the rest of the world, and honestly it really sucks. I don't know how I did it before.

So, yeah, I'll poke my head in from time to time, but, that'll be about it. Have fun ya'll.

You need to get a laptop. You can always illegally steal wireless depending on where you live. And you can do it legally too at certain coffee shops and schools and libraries and such.

I've had my Gateway laptop for 2 years and now, after, like two or so hours of use the fan goes bat**** crazy - noisy as hell - and the thing overheats like hell, sometimes even shutting itself down. And it's hot hot HOT to the touch, on the bottomside and the fan vent. It smells like burning.

It must be full of ANTS or something.

I got this at a Gateway Country store. Which has since closed down. Which sucks balls because I'm positive I would've been able to trade this thing there for something better by now.

Well, usually those places, if you complain enough they will do something or another.

You gotta be manipulative, persistent, unforgiving, and downright evil sometimes though. Get everyone's name, see if you can get one of them to give you misinformation and use it later on another call, etc. Generic con-man stuff.

Yeah, I figure I should do SOMETHING about... it's really incredibly annoying. And it has a **** graphics card. I'm thinking of maybe shelling out for an iBook or something...

I can leave mine on for 2-3 days downloading huge amounts of anime, or rendering 3d stuff with no problems at all. Mine is pretty new though.....>_>
