    quick keyboard question

im not too familiar with keyboards and the playstation. im pretty sure rpg maker 3 will have usb keyboard support, but what does that exactly mean. do i just slap a regular keyboard with a usb hookup into the ps2?

Not too sure, but it should work as the powerboard works with a PC as well. I just got it because I didn't have an extra keyboard and the Powerboard was about the same price as a USB keyboard (it was only $20). Most of the other USB ones I saw had all the extra buttons and such, which I don't like. So I don't see why it wouldn't work, but as long as a converter is less than $20 you have nothing to lose as long as you can return it, or even if you can't you have a converter.

Yes, a regular keyboard would work. Even the one you're using for your PC, assuming it's a USB keyboard (which is most likely). Either way, these types of keyboards are commonplace, so it shouldn't be too hard finding a new one for $10-20.

There's also that special Logitech keyboard which is a controller/keyboard hybrid. It's a tad more expensive, but better if you don't want to worry about having to switch between the keyboard and the controller so many times.
