I was sitting at work today, tossing around some ideas on a horror short story of sorts when my mind began to wonder the recent slew of horror remakes in the past few years. Starting with that terrible frame-by-frame Psycho remake and carrying us through something like Dawn of the Dead and The Amityville Horror (if I didn't get the name of the town right I should be shot, I live right next to it).
Friday the 13th should be remade!
AND I MUST WRITE AND DIRECT IT.
But not like...remade...REVISIONED. Imagine a slasher film where the slasher is an entity of pure evil that really freightens you, not a character you root for as he caliously slices through sex-crazed teens. An obsessive Mr. Christy scrambles as much as he can to save face for his loser life by reopening Camp Crystal Lake...but two bodies are found, one is an old lady, in a hit and run near the camp, and another is a body that washes up from the lake. However, the body from the lake dissapears before officials can do something about it, this is followed by various wildlife deaths occuring throughout the forest. Until finally JASON shows up and starts slashing up teens cause they hit his mom with a car or something.
I WILL DO IT, NO ONE CAN STO PME! AAAAAAA AAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!
