    Journey-from thatgamecompany (flOw and Flower)

Kinda reminds me of Shadow of the Colossus merged with Demon's Souls, in a way.

I can see SotC, in scale and if those are screenshots of gameplay, the aesthetic reminds me a bit of Mirror's Edge. With so little detail on the multiplayer, I don't know how you get DS out of it. It's interesting though.
So you're a fish out of water...
    Keep swimming.
    What else can you do?

He gets Demon's Souls out of it because it's one of the few games he's played!

I'm not talking about DS in terms of gameplay...I'm talking more about mood and how they describe the multiplayer.

The mood this game seems to be going for is "isolation and loneliness," and how they describe multiplayer (anonymity) reminds me of Demon's Souls in the broadest sense. Maybe that page I linked to did not spell those things out, but this was pretty much how they described it in the newest issue of Game Informer (hold the comments, plz).

Basically, as you wander through the desert, you will occasionally come across other random, anonymous people doing the same in their own game, and you can collaborate to achieve certain goals. So in the most basic sense, yes, this sort of does have a bit of a Demon's Souls bent to it.

I'll see if I can find another link that describes the game more fully. Also, as I read the description for the first time, I thought this also reminded me of Pagerron's Wander for RPGM3.

          EDIT: Try this.
