I really don't care for the level of self-awareness in these two recently announced NIS games. Cladun has it in its name, and that ZHP trailer makes me feel like a terrible person for even liking RPGs.
The most grindy-grindfest to ever grind! You can play this game over 40 million times! Millions of items!
That's one rabbit hole of design I want absolutely nothing to do with, even if it is blatant hyperbole.
Yeah, cause of the game doesnt get a 9.5 it isnt worth buying or playing, and i should throw away about 75% of my collection.
I appreciate the comment, but both of the NIS games Kire posted about, especially this one, just sound fun and appealing to me, i'm sorry if it doesnt live up to your exacting standards.
I think these games are better for younger players who have enough time in the day to play them. I think most of us just can't invest that much time without eventually getting bored with the game through all the grinding.
It's on the PSP. I will get it eventually when it drops down in price. I loved playing Disgaea 2 on my PSP so I can't see the downside to it. It's a handheld game so you can just play it on the bus or during a lunchbreak or something.
Although I really hope it's a joke about the grindfest.
