"From the mind of M. Night Shamalayan"

NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!! God, the freakin' gall of this guy. And I love how it's one of "The Night Chronicles." Jesus.

Screw this, I'm going to go see Inception...y'know...by an actual great filmmaker that most people don't know his name because he doesn't plaster his name all over his movies.

I think Christopher Nolan is gettin' up there. You don't make one of the most successful movies of all time and stay a nobody.

Why do studios still give M. Night money? Haven't they learned their lesson?

The lesson being that he's a known name and he makes money for the studios regardless of quality?

Wait, I thought his movies always bombed? Are you saying that they actually do well? Despite the fact that most people don't like them?

Yeah, given the buzz surronding Nolan just mentioning that he might be interested in doing a Bond film, it's safe to say he has entered the realm of being a big name director. Though whether he's truly earned that spot will be tested by Inception; certainly if his name attached helps sell what is ultimately a rather oddly shaped peg to shove into the summer blockbuster hole, then he'll have a shot at getting carte blanche on a Cameron level.

                      M. Night Shamalyan. Yep. He's directing this. That's for sure.
What's the point of having an emergency response system if you can't provoke the wrath of God?

I will never see an M. Night movie again. I saw The Last Airbender (Knowing full well of the sheer terribleness of the movie) because I am such a huge fan of the cartoon series. I wanted to see *how badly* someone could mess up something so epic when all of the source material and most of the dialogue could have simply remained and the movie would have been merely okay with simply ripping dialogue out of season 1 of the TV show.

                        M. Night has no ability to write a script, and his directing is beyond terrible. Never again will I subject myself to something he has worked on.

The Last Airbender was good for a laugh, a laugh at the fact that I could probably write a better script, and keep it more in line with the series rather than his nonsensical approach.
